In the framework of the project “Implementing the eco-industrial park initiative towards sustainable industrial park model in Vietnam”; The Ministry of Planning and Investment has coordinated with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to organize a training course “Energy efficiency electricity use in industry in Viet Nam”, which took place in the four-day from October 30 until November 2, 2017 in Ninh Binh.
The training course was conducted by Mr. Holger Papst Bachmann – Swiss Energy Expert. Attending the course are the members of the Project Management Unit; representatives of local departments, the Board of management of Industrial Zone in 02 pilot Industrial Zone in Can Tho, Ninh Binh; representatives of research institutes and universities. The main objective of the training course is to provide basic concepts, methods of implementation and solutions to increase energy efficiency electricity use in industry.

Visit at Ninh Binh Fertilizer company
Over the course of the four-day training, with the field survey at Ninh Binh Fertilizer company, participants learned more about the basics of electrical energy use in industry, raise awareness about the management of electrical energy efficiency and use of electrical energy savings. After the course, Mr. Holger Papst Bachmann- the energy expert of the project, hope the participants to self-assess and develop solutions to improve the effectiveness of the electrical energy use in industry . At the end of the session, Mr. Holger Papst also on behalf of the Project Management Board awarded certificates to the participants.
