Introduction

The overall objective of the EGM is to reach a common understanding of EIP developments in the Vietnamese context as well as to agree on a framework of minimum requirements EIP in Vietnam have to meet in order to be characterized in this regard. This is to be supported by recommendations on national policies, guidelines and legislations to facilitate the transformation of existing IZs into EIPs and identified methods for retrofitting existing IQ into EIPs in Vietnam.
