The Government of Vietnam issued Decree No.82/2018/ND-CP (“Decree 82”) dated 22 May 2018 to regulate the management of industrial zones (IZ) and economic zones (EZ) in Vietnam. The Decree prescribes planning, establishment and operation of, policies on, and state management of, industrial parks and economic zones. It is applied to regulatory bodies, organizations and individuals involved in investment and business activities in industrial parks and economic zones.

Decree 82 took effect on 10 July 2018, replacing Decree No. 29/2008/ND-CP.
