Ms. Martin Mehers is learning and capacity development practitioner who has worked within the global sustainability community for over 25 years. She is also a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) with the International Association of Facilitators. Gillian’s expertise is in creating dynamic experiential learning environments, facilitating productive multi-stakeholder dialogue processes, designing interactive learning experiences, and developing innovative curriculum and training materials. She has worked internationally, from Armenia to Zambia, on a broad range of sustainability and conservation topics, in addition to leadership and team development. She has also trained facilitators in Africa, Europe and Asia, and run training-of-trainers programmes globally, as well as led facilitation teams at major events. Gillian is currently Founding Director at Bright Green Learning (Atadore Sàrl). Previously she was Head of Learning at IUCN and Director of Capacity Development at LEAD International (Leadership for Environment and Development). Gillian won the IAF Gold Award for Facilitation Impact in 2015 and is co-author of the Climate Change Playbook (Chelsea Green, 2016)
